Join The Harkin Institute for Public Policy & Citizen Engagement, Dole Institute of Politics, Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate and George Bush Presidential Library and Museum for a virtual rally to commemorate this significant civil rights legislation and look ahead at ways we can continue to break down barriers for people with disabilities.

Speakers will include retired Senators Tom Harkin and Bob Dole, Judy Heumann and Claudia Gordon, among others.

Grassroots activism was crucial to the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act three decades ago. Though we cannot meet in person we can still gather online to hear from disability leaders, share personal experiences, celebrate all that has been accomplished.
