How will the Covid-19 pandemic impact the future of public health?

Join The Harkin Institute for Public Policy & Citizen Engagement and the Drake Chapter of the American Pharmacists Association for our virtual Policy on Tap event on April 29, 2021. It will feature a panel with leading community health experts about the response to the Covid-19 pandemic and how it will inform future public health initiatives.

Panelists include:

  • Kelly Garcia, interim director of the Iowa Department of Public Health
  • Nora Stelter, professor of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Drake University
  • Erik Maki, professor of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Drake University
  • Sharmi Patel, Executive Fellow at the Iowa Pharmacy Association

This free event is geared toward Drake students and the Des Moines community, but the public is welcome to attend. Registrants will receive a follow up email the week of the event with details on how to attend.
