ACSC is a national alliance of organizations and institutes that supports a wide range of programs to inform and educate students, scholars, policymakers, and the general public on Congress. It encourages the preservation of materials that document the work of Congress and support programs that make those materials available for education and research.

Bibens oversees Drake’s Political Papers Collection, which consists of the congressional papers of senators and members of the House of Represenatives from Iowa, as well as records relate to the Iowa Caucus and Iowa politics in general. In addition to the papers of Senator Tom Harkin and Ruth Harkin, Drake University Archives & Special Collections is home to the Robert Ray Papers and Neal Smith Papers, as well as the Iowa Caucus Collection.
