Senator Tom Harkin (retired) & Ruth Harkin share the following message regarding the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein:
“Ruth and I send our condolences to the Feinstein family on the passing of our longtime friend, Senator Dianne Feinstein. We served together on the Senate Appropriations Committee for 22 years. She was a role model for what a good Senator should be: always prepared, thoughtful, an incisive questioner, and principled but willing to search for compromise if needed. She added grace and dignity to the Senate. She will be greatly missed.”
