The Harkin Institute is once again teaming up with local architecture firm, BNIM, to develop best practices and standards in creating fully accessible and inclusive spaces. This time, our focus is on outdoor recreation spaces. We are looking for adults with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities to participate in a series of focus groups that will look at potential designs, provide feedback, and share past positive or negative experiences with outdoor recreation spaces like parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields. All focus groups will last approximately one hour and will be held virtually over Zoom. Participants will be offered a $25 stipend for their time.
